Kaila Cashman, LCSW
Kaila is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. She brings a warm, collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from her extensive background in therapeutic foster care, school-based services, and outpatient mental health.
Kaila earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies & Community Development from Towson University, with a concentration in Services to Children and Youth. She went on to complete her Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, focusing on Services to Children and Families.
Her career began in Maryland, where she provided therapeutic support in school settings and served as a Family Consultant for KidsPeace Therapeutic Foster Care. Kaila later continued her clinical work in Connecticut, joining Greenwich Psychotherapy & Associates and the Family Centers in Stamford, where she worked across outpatient behavioral health and school-based programs.
Kaila recently launched her own private practice, Launch Psychotherapy, where she is dedicated to helping teens and young adults navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and identity development. Her therapeutic style is grounded in a strengths-based, relational approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based methods to support growth and healing. Kaila values creating a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
